A New Perspective on Failure

Today, I woke up as a 51 year old human.

Yesterday, I found myself in deep thought and created a list of all the things that changed the direction of my life.

I started to think of these moments uas failures but then found the blessings.

I was an architect major for awhile and then switched to pre law in my last year. But had I finished as an architect, I would have never started @femcity. And my work with FemCity has been the biggest impact I’ve made so far. So it worked out.

I turned down an internship with Janet Reno which I’ve been kicking myself over for years. But had I done that internship, I wouldn’t have opened my Pilates and Personal Training company that I loved for over 10 years. So it worked out.

Lastly, as a little girl, I did dance and acting school where I practiced auditions and performance. Somehow, in High School I lost connection to this creative side. At the start of this year, I picked it up again and it’s been such a fun journey. So it worked out.

Ya see it always works out.
We worry.
We stress.
We review our failures.
We forget the blessings.

But at the end, it always ends up working out.

When we are taken off a course, perhaps it’s because there’s something bigger and better for us.

So the next time you pull up your failures, review how it turned out to be a bigger blessing in the long run.

Trust that the universe is on your side.
